BSP Same Day Void

Void via the GDS or Technology Provider

A ticket can only be voided on the same day as the date of issuance via the GDS or Technology Provider. The void transaction should take place in the system in which the ticket was issued.

The Void message reported to the BSP Processing Centre will only contain the voiding transaction. Please refer to your GDS or Technology Provider for the applicable detailed procedures regarding the same day voiding entry:

·         To prevent a sale from being transmitted to BSP, the void must be completed via the GDS or Technology Provider using the correct GDS voiding entries.

·         Failure to void via the GDS or Technology Provider will result in a sale being sent to BSP and, in the case of a credit card sale, the credit card company of the cardholder. The only way to reverse the sale is to submit a refund, providing the ticket is refundable. If the ticket is non-refundable, the sale will stand.   

·         Voiding exchanges is allowed for BSP. VOID must be done on the same day the exchange was processed.
