Travel Agency Guidelines
American Airlines is offering rebooking options for our ticketed customers affected by the reduction of service to Buenos Aires, Argentina (EZE). This rebooking policy applies when the flight was cancelled in the reservation (status changed to: WK/UN/UC/NO/HX when American does not provide an alternate flight as part of the schedule change). Please be guided by the following information:
Rebook on AA Prime Flights to/from EZE
Rebooking guidelines apply to tickets issued on AA 001 ticket stock for service on American and travel to/from EZE when AA updated the segment status to WK/UN/UC/NO/HX when American does not provide an alternate flight as part of the schedule change. This applies to all published, private, and leisure fares.

Inventory Requirements
Lowest Inventory, Same Cabin
If original inventory is not available rebook lowest inventory available in the same ticketed cabin up to and including Y. This includes Basic Economy fares.
Note: If customers are unable to rebook or reissue their ticket within the given timeline, they can cancel their reservation and use the value of the ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket; all rules and restrictions apply. Travel must commence no later than one year from the date of original issuance. See Extended Travel Rebooking for more details.
Reissue Policy Information
American Airlines will waive applicable penalty or change fees and travel agents may rebook and reissue tickets as an even exchange provided the below guidelines are met and applied:
· Ticket issued on AA 001 ticket stock
· Applies to AA*/oneworld flights
· Travel has not commenced on the affected flight segment and the ticket has not been reissued by American Airlines
· The first departure flight is more than 3 hours away
· Affected coupons are in OK status
· Travel reissuance only in accordance to dates identified in this reduction of service policy
· More than one change allowed without an additional collection, including penalty or change fee within the reduction of service dates
· Original issuing agency responsible for ticket reissue
· Ticket Revalidation not permitted
· When changes to the outbound travel occur, the unaffected return date may be changed to protect the original length of the trip
o The return travel must be booked in the original class of service (inventory), unless the return flight also falls within the New Travel Dates of this policy
· Changes outside of these guidelines are subject to the reissue rules of the ticketed fare. This includes any applicable additional collection or applicable penalty/change Fee
o Refer to Extend Travel Rebooking after the Travel Event
· Basic Economy may be rebooked up to Y inventory in the main cabin
· Please ensure the above procedures are accurately followed to prevent debit memo issuance
Endorsement Box Requirement
· Endorsement Box must include: SKCHG/EZEREBK
· Ticket Reissue required. This is the only required verbiage and supersedes all other information.
Changes to Origin/Destination - Not Allowed
· Waive Change Fee
· Ticket reissue for original ticketed fare
· 300 Mile Radius is allowed within U.S. / Canada
· Changes to origin/destination are not permitted for the travel notice
· Any changes made to origin/destination all fare rules apply
· Changes to Stopover city are not permitted
Co-terminal and MAC Airports
· Changes to co-terminal and MAC airports on AA Prime flights are allowed
o Co-terminal & MAC Airports are considered the same routing

Upsell permitted to higher cabin on all fares, including Basic Economy. The fare difference from the ticketed fare to the new applicable fare applies.
Note: New fare takes on the fare rules of the original ticketed fare
Extend Travel Rebooking Guidelines
If customers are unable to rebook within the New Travel Dates, may reschedule their reservation to/from the same city or alternate cities and reissue their ticket with the below guidelines:
· Cancel their itinerary and apply the value of the original ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket for travel commencing within 1 year from the date of original issuance
· Applicable change fee only is waived as long as the original ticket is reissued within ticket validity and the impact dates are in accordance with those identified in this reduction policy
· Customer's new itinerary is rebooked/ticketed at current applicable fare and rules, additional monies may apply
· Basic Economy fares qualify for Extended Travel Rebooking
o Basic Economy fares may only be used towards the purchase of other Basic Economy fares outside of the New Travel Dates listed in this policy
· If the new itinerary price is lower than the price on the original ticket, the residual amount may be refunded by:
o ARC agencies may issue residual value as an MCO
o BSP agencies may apply for the residual value voucher through their BSPLink Refund Application (RA)
§ The voucher will be issued in the name of the person on the ticket and mailed to the agency

· Tickets will be refunded to the original form of payment (FOP)
· Cancellation / Penalty / Change fee is waived
· If the itinerary is not already cancelled, be sure to cancel the space prior to submitting the refund
The refund must be processed using the waiver code SCRFND/EZEREBK, and can be processed using the waiver code as follows:
· Via the GDS (Preferred Method)
· ARC/IAR Refund Exchange Notice (REN)
· BSPLink Refund Application (RA)
Note: If the ticket has been exchanged by American as an INVOL submit the refund request directly with American. Refer to American Airlines Refunds.
