Best Practices for Dividing "MLTPX" PNR/Order to a Single Passenger

·    Unticketed PNR/Order:

o   Step 1: Verify fare details and check for the "MLTPX" indicator in endorsements

o   Step 2: If present, divide the PNR/Order and cancel the segment for the non-traveling passenger

o   Step 3: Reprice the remaining itinerary and issue the ticket

·    Ticketed PNR/Order:

o   Step 1: Verify fare details and check for the "MLTPX" indicator in endorsements

o   Step 2: If present, divide the PNR/Order, cancel the segment, and void the ticket for the cancelling traveler

o   Step 3: Reprice and reissue the ticket for the remaining traveler

·    Do not cancel and void a ticket without repricing the remaining itinerary

·    Always ensure the MLTPX fare condition is removed before reissuing

·    Use correct GDS procedures for divides and cancellations

·    Document actions clearly in the PNR/Order

Note: Improper handling may result in ADMs or other compliance actions. See Debit Memos
