Atlantic Joint Business partners American Airlines and British Airways are pleased to share that the UK government has announced that effective February 11, 2022, COVID-19 travel testing requirements are no longer needed for vaccinated passengers.
For fully vaccinated passengers:
- The current requirement for a ‘day-2’ arrivals test will be removed, effective February 11, 2022
- To protect everyone’s health traveling to the UK, an online passenger locator form must be submitted by all passengers regardless of vaccine status within 48 hours of arrival in the UK
For non-fully vaccinated passengers:
- When arriving into or transiting through the UK from outside the common travel area, a negative COVID-19 test must be taken as proof within 48 hours of departure to the UK. Results must be in English, French or Spanish
- A day 2 PCR test must be booked and paid for prior to departure
- To protect everyone’s health traveling to the UK, an online passenger locator form must be submitted within 48 hours of arrival in the UK
